Lost Bread Co., a new wholesale bakery from acclaimed baker Alex Bois, is now open in Olde Kensington. Lost Bread Co. makes nutritious, flavorful, and imaginative foods accessible throughout Philadelphia, working closely with restaurants to provide a range of breads for both sandwich and sit-down dining.

We evoke the spirit of community-centric bakeries with a focus on responsible sourcing, sustainability, and ethical treatment of workers. Calling on our Lost culinary heritage of thrift and resourcefulness, we transform bread surplus into a range of products purposely designed to prevent the locally-sourced grain we mill fresh in-house from reaching the landfill. Where possible, we donate to local food banks to ensure that no crumb is left behind.

At the moment we offer buns, rolls, and sandwich breads, but will soon be adding naturally leavened crusty loaves made with a higher proportion of freshly stone-milled flour, and a small list of pastry and pantry items. We are open to collaborations and special orders. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
